Project Description

The property is situated on the edge of Saskatoon’s revitalized cultural core within walking/biking distance of many amenities. Wolf Willow Cohousing is developing an apartment style condominium project of about twenty homes for adults aged 55 and over with common amenities to support interaction among neighbours and graceful aging in place.

The homes will be fully self-contained and designed for accessibility. The materials and mechanical systems will be selected based on green building principles balanced with the economic constraints of the project.

Main floor plan with landscaping.

The common facilities will include a kitchen and dining area large enough for the whole community to share meals and celebrations when they choose. There will be a lounge, a small office, a multi-purpose meeting room, two guest rooms, an exercise room, sauna and a common laundry (private homes will also have space for a washer and dryer). A multi-purpose craft room with sinks will provide space for messy activities and there will be a workshop. The building will include secured parking and elevator access. Several common decks and gardens will provide space for growing herbs, vegetables, fruit trees and ornamentals.
