The Marketing Administration and Community Building services deal with membership outreach, decision-making structures and protocol, community communication and organization, member education and skills building.

Initiation Phase

• Work with the group to develop an effective organizational structure, which will include all members in the process.
   
• Work with the group to establish effective consensus decision-making procedures.

Member Recruitment

• Help the group define requirements for membership in the community.
   
• Initiate and coordinate the efforts of the community in building the group and bringing new members into the process. Provide support and guidance throughout the process of group formation.
   
• Manage the process for interested members to become full members of the community.
   
• Work with the group to develop a marketing strategy.
   
• Coordinate the creation of promotional material.
   
• Set up a public website and keep updated until move-in. Provide the group with all information required to take over management of the website after move-in.
   
• Set up and maintain an Interactive Data Base for managing information and facilitating the education of new members. Provide the group with all information required to take over management of the Data Base after move-in.

Administrative Services

• Help set-up an effective system for taking and distributing minutes.
   
• Help set-up an effective system for creating agendas.
   
• Help set-up an effective system for recording decisions.
   
• Help the group to set up an effective community communication system.

Education and Structure

• Provide education and information on the following topics:
   
• Consensus Decision-making
   
• Facilitation
   
• Communication / Conflict Resolution
   
• Networking / Outreach
   
• "Living in Community" Agreements
   
• Work with the group to establish effective meeting techniques and assist in the implementation of these techniques.
   
• Advise and assist in formation of Committees and attend initial meetings.
   
• Coordinate the work of the committees through the development and construction phases.
   
• Assist and coordinate community relations as needed.
   
• Provide meeting assistance as required such as agenda preparation and creating monthly meeting schedules.
